Golfweek: Golf's Hot Streak
According to Golfweek's December 7-14 issue, the number of rounds for the first nine months of 2012 is up by 7.4 percent compared to that of 2011. This is great news for the industry and the two million Americans whose livelihoods rely on the game. Sure, mild winter helped boost rounds played in 2012. But other factors - lower green fees and pent-up demand among them - give the game a good bounce.
